Save drafts, review previews and schedule publications on Pro or Max.
Prepare and schedule
Prepare a draft in Manage posts → Schedule posts, check Preview, choose Set schedule and confirm. Saving a draft does not publish it. Removing an unsent scheduled post returns it to drafts and releases its reserved slots; already published posts still count. Renewal extends the available horizon after the payment is recorded. Upgrades apply immediately; after a downgrade or expired entitlement, incompatible schedules need your review. Times use your browser timezone with an explicit UTC offset. Publication can be delayed by network limits or outages; check the calendar for failures.
Plan limits
Drafts, images and link cards on Pro and Max. Pro: 3 posts/day, up to 7 calendar days ahead. Max: no daily plan quota, until the current paid period ends. Quotas are shared across linked accounts and use the saved calendar timezone. Network limits still apply. Publication must precede the exact subscription expiry.
Before the first publication
Start with the account selector in the app header. Check that it shows the profile you intend to publish from, especially if you manage several accounts. Then open the publishing calendar and create a new draft. Give it an internal name you will recognize later. The draft name organizes your calendar; review the actual post text separately. Saving while you work keeps the draft available without authorizing a publication. A scheduled item, by contrast, has an active delivery instruction and should be checked before you leave the page.
Read each part of the post in Preview. If you attach images, provide descriptions that explain the information they contain to people using assistive technology. For a link card, check the HTTPS address, title, description and image after loading the preview. Clear an old card before choosing a different link. The preview is a review aid: the network may display the final post differently, so inspect the published link after delivery. If you are composing a thread, read the sequence in order and check the character counter of every part.
Dates, changes and recovery
In Set schedule, select the day on the calendar and choose the local time, then confirm the selection. Check the timezone name and UTC offset shown alongside it. These identify the time used by the saved schedule; they are more useful than assuming the server shares your location. A date in the past or too close to the current time is rejected. If you keep an editor open for a long time, check the date again before scheduling, since a previously valid time may no longer be in the future.
On Pro, three reserved publications on the same day leave no room for a fourth. Move an unsent item back to drafts to release its slot before trying again. A delivered post has already used its slot. A date must satisfy both the seven-day horizon and the subscription expiry; passing one check does not override the other. On Max, the absence of a daily plan quota does not remove the expiry check or the network budget. Recheck reservations after changing a recurring schedule, since its future occurrences also need valid dates.
Use Edit/Reschedule to revise an active schedule. If another tab has changed the same item, reload the calendar and review the saved version before submitting again. Do not assume an error means that nothing was saved: check the item and its delivery history first. After a network outage or failed send, use the calendar to understand what happened before deciding on another publication. Post now is an immediate publishing action, so check the selected account and the content just as carefully as you would for a scheduled send.
